It is the start of a new millennium. The Y2K bug is but a splotch on the
windshield of life. We will have a new president. We will have new versions of
old products. Our lives will be updated and millennium ready. It is
high time for ... "something completely different" - to step on the gas and blow
out the exhaust; it is time to think outside the box...er Monolith.
Take a break from your normal mundane existence. Find a new, fresh perspective on
life. Learn how to become the master of your destiny; a new more powerful,
complete human being - Okay, maybe not. But, hey! it will be fun and just a
little odd, so why not?
My name is Wolfgang and I am the Chairman for BayCon 2001. My goal for this year
is to keep BayCon growing and getting better. I have been a part of BayCon for
many years, and fandom for many more. I am honored to be a part of this
tradition. I also plan on there being a few non- traditional surprises. Come by
and see what this oddity is all about.
We have some great guests lined up. Don't worry, that is not all that is going
on. All the usual fun and excitement will be back. Dealer's Room, Art Show,
Boffer Wars, Panels, Masquerade, Dances, Gamming, Parties, Dive-in movies etc,
etc,...etc. Plus a few surprises! I hope to see you there!!
